While all our meals come with mineral water or our house green tea. We offer other drinks both nonalcoholic and alcoholic! [ Gil prices are imaginary, no need to really pay this in game. All official workers will not charge actual gil for imaginary items. We are using a 10:1 ratio gil:dollars as it seems using the 100:1 gil:dollar ratio makes the end amount feel too high. ( 10gil = 1.00$ /100 yen/ 1 euro) ]
Some of the more traditional Doman style teas we have to offer. Unlike other teas we follow the Doman steaming process instead of fermenting process to preserve our green teas. They are grown in specific conditions and ways with even some variants on steam preservation to give the teas an array of different flavors and aromas.
One of the most common forms of Green Tea, Sencha like most of our teas is steamed instead of fermenting for preservation. It’s then kneaded and rolled into needle like shapes. It is our house green tea and is typically served right upon entry even to those not wishing for a meal to show our appreciation for the visit.
Sencha that is grown in the shade within Oyun’s garden prior to being harvested. This increases the sweetness and relaxing theanine in the tea. It has a mellower flavor and more subtle color compared to regularly grown Sencha.
Sencha that is grown in the shade longer than Kabusecha causing the caffeine levels to increase while the bitterness decreases which in return give the tea a sweeter flavor and distinct aroma. It has a clear beautiful jade like color when brewed.
Sencha that has been rolled into comma like shapes instead of being kneaded into needle shapes. It has a tangy, berry-like taste, with a long almondy aftertaste. It’s an aromatic tea smelling of tones of citrus, grass, and berries. It is steeped at a specific temperature for two minutes before being served.
Sencha that is mixed with roasted brown rice and small amount of matcha. It has a nutty flavor and aroma thanks to the roasted brown rice with a soft greenish color thanks to the matcha.
Our house Sencha that is roasted over charcoal giving it a darker color with a smoky aroma and slightly smoky flavor cutting through the bitterness.
Tea finely ground with stone mills, it has a similar growing process as Gyokuro. Unlike our other teas that are brewed in pot, matcha is a powdered tea that is placed within it’s serving cup. Hot water is poured over the powder and is than whisked with a special bamboo whisk until all the powder has been dissolved giving the tea a smooth, deep flavor and deep green color.
